PDF Toolkit for LabVIEW

Overview
--------
The PDF Toolkit allows PDF report files to be generated from within LabVIEW.


Requirements
------------

This toolkit is designed for use with National Instruments LabVIEW version 8.6 and above. It will run on Windows XP/Vista/7. Non Windows operating systems are not supported. The Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 is required by the toolkit. 

Installation
------------

To install this toolkit extract the contents of the zip file to the LabVIEW user.lib directory usually located at: 

C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW XXXX\user.lib\

Note: Click 'Yes' to any folder merge dialogue box that appears. (No files will be overwritten)

Restart LabVIEW and browse to User Libraries under the functions palette to confirm correct installation.

Mass Compile
------------

For smooth operation of the PDF toolkit is it recommended to mass compile the VIs after installation. This function can be found under Tools>>Advanced in LabVIEW. 


Issue with CHM Help File & Internet Explorer
--------------------------------------------

If the PDF toolkit is downloaded using Internet explorer it is possible that the help file will be blocked, preventing access to its content. To unblock use explorer to browse to 'PDF Toolkit.chm', then right click to bring up the properties dialogue where an unblock button will be available.
